Family Synaxis Labor Day Retreat 2016
Registration is open! All rooms in the Tomaras Lodge (hotel-style rooms with private bathrooms) are booked. There is a waiting list that you can get on if this is your first choice, but please make alternative lodging plans as well. You can learn more about lodging options by clicking here. Among other lodging options are two Cottages that have 32 beds (bunks) each. One will be for men/boys; one for women. There are locker-room type showers and bathrooms. These are a great option for families whose children are over the age of 5.
There is also a block of rooms reserved for our ministry at the Country Inn & Suites in Kenosha, WI. The rate is $110 per night with a Friday and Saturday night stay required. This will offer an alternative for families who do not get a room at the SIRC Lodge but who prefer/require a hotel-style room, with the added benefit of the community of other Family Synaxis families. Rooms must be reserved by August 2nd to receive the special rate, so if this is your second choice to the Tomaras Lodge, register and book your room today.
Registration costs are as follows for those registering by August 17, 2016 (rates increase after that date):
Base registration fee: $225 - this fee covers the oldest two members of your family (i.e., the couple, or one adults and oldest child)
Children age 12+: $50 each
Children age 3-11: $25 each
Children under 3: free
*Cost will be capped at $375/family.
When you register, you will let us know who is attending and their ages. From this information, we will generate an invoice for you, which you'll receive via email within a few days. You may pay this with any credit card online, or by printing it out and sending a check to St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Des Plains, IL.
